Mya Thaung (U)

Artist Mya Thaung(U), born in 1943 in Bogalay, Japanese Burma, is a renowned Burmese painter. He studied at the State School of Fine Art in Yangon from 1965 to 1967. Mya Thaung has exhibited his artworks across the Asia Pacific region, including in countries such as Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Australia. In 1990, he participated in a Water Color Contest in New York City and won first prize. His paintings were featured in the Arts of Asia Magazine in September-October 1992. Artist Mya Thaung is known for his captivating paintings and has achieved international recognition for his artistic talent.
