Morning
Artist Htoo Aung Kyaw
Artist Htoo Aung Kyaw intricately weaves expressions and symbolism from the Pyu and Bagan era into his creations. The fusion of color expression and symbolic elements serves as a narrative tool, telling diverse stories and embodying the concepts he practises and wishes to express. A modern artist guided by Eastern philosophy and historical themes, Htoo unveils three new artworks in this exhibition, representing "Morning," "Noon," and "Night"—each mirroring life's phases: "Beginning," "On Going," and "Ending." While the content and context of each part are unique, the central theme remains constant: a focus on the present moment, relishing the process with gratitude. Life's unpredictability, especially during challenging times, is acknowledged in Htoo's art. As an artist, he persists in working on what he believes in, channelling his passion for art, and seeking a way of living rooted in Eastern philosophy, particularly Buddhism. Htoo invites viewers to contemplate their current way of living and find joy in experiencing his artworks. "Noon and Night," by artist Htoo Aung Kyaw, portrays the ongoing hustle and occasional emotional explosions in life. It symbolizes moving through the process, holding onto our mission. As we approach the ending, the artwork prompts reflection on accomplishments and challenges overcome, celebrating the journey from "On Going" to "Ending."
